A pool heat pump operates similarly to a reverse-cycle air conditioner. It uses refrigerant R32 as the working fluid. Initially, the refrigerant is in a liquid state and absorbs energy from the ambient air through the evaporator, turning it into a gas. This gas then moves to the compressor, where its heat and pressure increase. Next, the refrigerant flows to the condenser, acting as a heat exchanger, where it transfers heat to the pool water, causing the refrigerant to revert to a liquid state. Finally, the liquid refrigerant returns to the evaporator to repeat the cycle, continuously heating your pool.

Madimack heat pumps come with built-in thermostats that monitor the pool’s temperature. The heat pump automatically turns off once the desired swimming temperature is reached. It will reactivate only if the pool temperature drops by 1 degree below the set temperature. Madimack heat pumps incorporate advanced inverter technology, allowing them to operate at lower speeds with higher efficiency. This ensures an efficient heating process without consuming excess power.
